I Painted My Boots - On Purpose

So usually when I get paint on my shoes it's unintentional. But yesterday I decided to deliberately paint a pair of boots I bought last year and only wore twice.I thought they they were gray when I bought them, but they were a gray-taupe-pinky shade that didn't really go with anything. 

No prep. Just taped off the sole edge and started with a chip brush and these colors.

First the two dark ones and then a wash of the reddish one.Then wax.

And here's how they turned out. I think I'll wear them a lot more now.
